You’re here because something has changed.

Care decisions come fast and often layered.
It’s easy to feel unsure where to start.

Every choice affects health, finances, independence, and relationships. Feeling stuck or overwhelmed is normal.

I’m here to help you pause, think through your options, and gain clarity before the next step.

I’m Lee-Anne Godfrey (RN)

I’m a nurse with over 30 years of experience helping families and individuals navigate complex healthcare decisions. I also host the People’s Care Manager podcast, where I share guidance and insights to make care easier to understand.

I help families move from uncertainty and overwhelm to clarity and action, saving time, preventing costly mistakes, and giving you confidence in the decisions you’re making. Whether it’s a single critical decision or ongoing support, I’m here to help you feel informed, prepared, and supported every step of the way.

I bring over 30 years of nursing experience supporting families through complex healthcare decisions. This is what families tell me.

  • The sheer volume of decisions feels impossible to manage all at once. You want to act, but thinking about the next step alone feels paralyzing. Delaying feels safe, but the stress quietly grows every day.

  • The stakes feel enormous, and the fear of a mistake is paralyzing. Every decision feels permanent, even when options are reversible. That anxiety keeps you stuck, instead of moving forward.

  • There’s no free time to comb through conflicting advice, evaluate care options, or compare facilities. Yet you know a rushed decision could be costly or harmful. The pressure of limited time makes every choice feel heavier than it should.

  • No choice feels clearly safe, and every decision carries weight. You’re constantly weighing trade-offs, imagining what could go wrong, and second-guessing yourself. It’s exhausting to live in a space where risk feels unavoidable.

  • The right questions aren’t obvious, and missing one could have serious consequences. You feel like you’re fumbling through an invisible checklist that only experts know. That uncertainty can make even starting the conversation feel impossible.

  • "Feeling a sense of desperation, I called you not knowing where to turn. My call was to exactly the right person."

    J.M.

  • "Thank you for your care of my mother this past year. It's been a great help to me as a "nurse-daughter" to be able to concentrate much more on the "daughter" part of that relationship.”

    L.R.

  • “Your help and availability has been a great comfort to me. It’s very nice having an expert to guide me through the unknown.”

    R.B.

  • "I cannot thank you enough for your wise council and kindness over these past few months. We truly would have been lost without you. You helped us make the right decisions for mom."

    C.H.

Most families don’t need more information. They need help deciding what matters now, what can wait, and what will actually move things forward.

Ways to Work Together

When families or individuals reach out, I provide support tailored to their needs.

I provide care management services in person in Orange County to coordinate care, attend appointments, and oversee the many details involved in complex situations.

For those outside Orange County—or for families not seeking full-time care but facing important decisions, challenging situations, or family disagreements about next steps—I offer focused, private sessions to review options and gain clarity. Every approach is designed to reduce stress, provide perspective, and help you feel confident in your decisions.

  • Family Care Decision Intensive

A private 90-minute session to help you make an important care decision with clarity and a clear plan for what to do next. This session is available to clients anywhere in the U.S. or Canada.

This is best for families or individuals who are facing a specific care decision and want clear guidance and expert insight, without signing up for ongoing care management. Many people use this session to get clarity before the situation becomes more stressful or urgent.

  • In-Person Care Management

Hands-on, ongoing support for families who need an experienced professional to attend appointments, coordinate care, and handle complex situations as they happen.

This is for families or individuals in Orange County who need someone to be present, manage details, and guide decisions, especially when care has become too time-consuming or overwhelming to manage alone. Care management is designed to bring consistency, oversight, and peace of mind as needs change over time.
