What are Expert Intensives, and who are they for?

Expert Intensives are focused, one-time sessions designed to help families or individuals make important care decisions with clarity and confidence. They are ideal for families or individuals who are facing a specific care decision and want expert guidance without committing to ongoing care management, whether the support is for a loved one or for themselves.

Here’s how a Expert Intensive works:

  • The first step is to submit an inquiry using our online form below, and select a preferred date and time for your session. Once your session is scheduled and payment is completed, you’ll receive a short questionnaire to provide key details about your situation. This helps ensure the session is focused, efficient, and tailored to your specific needs. Please note that while we provide guidance and clarity, this session is not a substitute for medical advice or ongoing professional care.

  • Before the session, you provide information about your situation, such as recent medical updates, current challenges, and questions you want answered. This preparation allows me to review your situation carefully ahead of time and ensures our session is targeted, focused, and productive. By sharing these details in advance, you can spend our time together fully engaged on the decisions that matter most.

  • We meet for a 90-minute private session, either by phone or video, to go over your situation in detail. During this time, we review your options, discuss risks and trade-offs, and explore possible next steps. The session is designed to reduce confusion, give you clarity, and help you feel confident making decisions for yourself or your loved one.

  • During the session, we talk through your situation in detail, explore alternatives, weigh risks and trade-offs, and think through next steps together. The goal is to give you insight, clarity, and confidence to make decisions, rather than providing a finalized plan on the spot. This discussion helps you feel more informed and less overwhelmed, so you can move forward with thoughtful consideration for yourself or your loved one.

  • You can request a detailed, organized written summary of the session, so you can focus fully during our time together while I capture the key points and recommendations in a shareable document for your family. You can also request a tailored care research brief, which provides expert guidance and saves you the time and effort of reviewing options yourself. These add-ons are ideal if you want extra clarity, documentation, or research support after the session.

The Expert Care Decision Intensive is $500. This includes your 90-minute private session, your pre-session questionnaire & review, discussion of options and risks, and a clear next-step plan.

Optional add-ons include a detailed, organized written summary of our session, allowing you to focus fully during our time together while I capture the key points and recommendations in a document you can share with your family.

You may also choose a targeted care research brief, which provides tailored, expert research to support your decisions — saving you time and effort on what is often the most challenging part of planning.

The written summary add-on is $200, and the targeted care research brief is $500.
